Use carriage bolts for several applications on a dock including all of the following:

• To attach most types of truss frame hardware, such as the TF-HM (use the B-CB1)
• To attach 2X4 stringers to the tops of truss frames so you have something to attach the decking to (use the B-CB2)
• To assemble wood dock hardware:
• For Lightweight use the B-CB2 (using 1/2" lumber)
• For Standard use the B-CB3 (using 1/2" lumber)
• For Heavy Duty you can use the B-CB3, using 1/2" lumber. If you are using double 2x12s or 3" thick glue lam you need to use a longer bolt, possibly a B-CB5
