Merco Marine™ carries SiestaDeck (formerly CorrectDeck CX) features enhanced anti-microbial protection that adds resistance to mold and mildew for ultra-low maintenance. Its co-extruded top layer fully encases the exposed wood fibers on the top and sides of each board providing added resistance to color fade and staining. This is our preferred decking material and it's the most commonly used.

12' and 16' lengths in a light tan or gray color. It is 5/4 decking, which measures 7/8" x 51/2" and can be screwed down or put down with a hidden clip. SiestaDeck is made with polypropylene which melts at 320˚ F. Most
composite deckings are made with polyethylene, which melts at
212˚ F. The result is a stiffer and stronger board.
SiestaDeck carries a 30 year limited lifetime warranty. It was rated the top composite decking board in 2010 by the most trusted consumer advocate publication in the U.S.
Some of the other features are:
| Feature | Benefits |
| Polypropylene composition Higher temperature rating and less sag than polyethylene based composites. | Better wear resistance. |
| Stiffer Composition, 850,000 flexural modules Other composites are 350,000. | SiestaDeck is less floppy and easier to handle. |
| Lighter in weight: 2.2 lbs./lin. ft Polyethylene based composites are 2.8 + lbs/lin. ft. | SiestaDeck is easier to handle in the yard and at the job site. |
Highest friction coefficient Less slippery than other compsites, especially when wet. |
Far less slippery than wood. |
| The board is very dense and hard Emboss will not wear off. | naturally resistant to wood boring insects without hazardous chemical treatments - safe for children, ground and water contact. |
| UV stabilization technology UV Stabilized. | Looks newer longer, very durable. |
| Wood grain is hot roller embossed | Resin rich surface has superior moisture resistance and is cooler under foot. |
| Solid cross section profiles | Looks and installs more like lumber. |
| Board has a slight (0.062") crown Water does not pool. | SiestaDeck last longer and is easier to clean. |
Static build-up is a natural occuring phenomenon that can occur with plastic products. It could occur with Siesta decking products under the right conditions.
