To determine which style of hardware works best for you please take a moment to review the information below.
Light: Is for small lakes or ponds with very little water level or wave fluctuation. This grade of hardware is 3/16" thick and uses 3/8" carriage bolts for assembly. The hinges use 3/4" bolts or pins.
Standard: Is our most popular line it is the most commonly used for dock applications. Use this type of hardware on rivers or lakes with moderate waves or water level fluctuation. This grade of hardware is 1/4" thick and uses 1/2" carriage bolts for assembly. The hinges use 3/4" bolts or pins.
Heavy: Use this type of hardware in areas with more extreme conditions. Heavy duty wood dock hardware is 3/8" thick and uses 1/2" carriage bolts for assembly. The hinges use 1" bolts or pins.
