Merco Marine designed a system using 1 ½" x 1 ½" x 3/16" angle and 1/2" round bar that create a rigid system. The pre-punched holes make it easy to bolt sections together with 1/2" x 1 ½" bolts. A punched system on top allows a nailer strip to be bolted to the top frame, and decking can then be nailed or screwed to this nailer. All frames are hot-dipped galvanized after welding. Frames can be punched ungalvanized for the do-it-yourselfer that prefers to paint it themselves. Our frames are 10' in length and 12" high and come in 2'-3'-4'-5'-6'-8' widths.
